Due to continued growth and strong deal flow, Acuity Advisors are looking for VPs to join the team at a very exciting time. As an Acuity VP, you will work closely with an Acuity Partner to lead the successful delivery of sell side, buy side and fundraising transactions. You will lead the preparation and co-ordination of key project deliverables, including information memoranda, business plans and client presentations, providing detailed industry and company analysis, financial modelling and analysis of transactions. You will lead client presentations and meetings.
This is an opportunity to work alongside a highly motivated Partner team in a forward-looking and collegiate environment.
You should be comfortable working autonomously accompanied by regular face to face time with the existing team.
The successful candidate will have experience of working on buy side, sell side and fundraising transactions and have an excellent reputation for their contribution to transactions and emerging leadership of transactions. Experience in the technology, media and telecoms sector would be particularly useful given the expertise Acuity Advisors are known for. A desire to work within a fast growing M&A advisory business is imperative and subsequently you would potentially describe yourself as an entrepreneurial, self-starter who has the ability to work on their own, to specific deadlines. You will already have experience in the M&A transaction environment so will currently be a VP or equivalent at a corporate finance boutique or accountancy firm, or a corporate (M&A, corporate development or strategy team), or at a private equity / VC house.
We expect you’ll have strong analytical skills and the ability to grasp commercial issues. You will have strong attention to detail whilst retaining an open mind to new ideas. You will have a strong written style with demonstrable experience of producing high quality, tailored documents. You will have a strong understanding of company financials including valuation metrics and key M&A analysis. You will have the ability to build effective working relationships and work successfully with a range of different clients. You will have a willingness and ability to learn quickly.
The role will be based in the UK (London or the Thames Valley). Please ensure sector preference is noted when applying (deep tech / semiconductor or software / telecoms / IT services / industrial tech focus).
